When you’re attending one of the biggest music events in the festival calendar, you don’t always want to spend the five-day weekend stuck inside a tent.
Although most of the weekend you’ll spend watching some of the best music acts the world has to offer, eating delicious food, and catching up with all your friends, sometimes it’s nice to escape to a more luxurious type of accommodation at the end of a long night.
If you enjoy the finer things in life and want to enjoy all the fun of the festival from a more comfortable location, here’s everything you need to know about VIP camping at Glastonbury.
Is there VIP camping at Glastonbury?
Yes, if you want to get the VIP experience during the Glastonbury weekend, there are plenty of camping options that will feel just like a 5-star hotel amongst all the traditional camping set-ups.
The majority of festival goers will spend their weekend under canvas but don’t think that VIP camping will be the same as the normal tent you can buy from the shops.
VIP camping is all about making you feel like a VIP for the weekend, something we aim to do at The Pop-Up Hotel.
Our Glastonbury VIP camping option includes a range of different accommodation types, all fit for people with the highest standards. Our glamping site is often described as “a haven away from the festival” and we couldn’t agree with that sentiment more!
You can also find other glamping sites across the festival that offer luxury accommodation, but if you really want to get the VIP treatment in your own Glastonbury Retreat, we’re the place to go.
What does Glastonbury VIP include?
If you choose to live the life of luxury at Glastonbury, you can expect a truly luxurious experience that will make you completely forget that you’re camping in a big field full of around 200,000 people.
At The Pop-Up Hotel, our Glastonbury VIP camping include a range of stylish accommodation options that are equipped with proper beds and sometimes en-suites too. On our site, you’ll also find a restaurant, bar, multi-treatment spa, and a full-sized pool.
If you want to get your hair done, you can spend a morning at a pamper area or in the fully-functional salon, or if you just want a place you can sit and chill, you can visit the large seating area to relax.
Don’t worry about parking and queueing to get in and out of the festival either, we have a car park as part of the hotel that is accessible from the main road!
We’re located just a short ten-minute walk from Gate D, so you’ll still feel like you’re not far from all the action but will be able to enjoy some rest and relaxation away from all the major crowds.
How much does glamping cost at Glastonbury?
The cost of glamping at Glastonbury all depends on the accommodation you choose. If you choose the basic Tipis that Glastonbury offers, you can expect to pay around £1,150 to hire for the weekend however, this won’t come with all the luxurious additions that many other options come with.
If you really want to live in luxury for the weekend, you can choose a range of suites at The Pop-Up Hotel.
Our Classic Room starts at just £2,499 for two people, but we also have a range of other accommodations at different price points, leading all the way up to our epic Tenthouse Suite which costs £24,999 and fits up to eight people.
