Dynamic. Explosive. Unmistakable. Paul Oz has become a seminal name on the British art scene, celebrated for high impact portraits of popular culture and sport.
The Early Years
Despite a passion for painting, Paul initially followed an academic path, studying Aerospace Engineering before moving into software brand development. Weekends became his creative escape.
He describes himself as not a textbook artist. His aim is visual impact. To capture characters in a way that makes you stop and say wow. His signature splats, thick textures and bold energy evolved from early abstracts into the explosive style collectors know today.

Life as an Artist
Since going full time in 2010, Paul’s work has been collected by figures including Jenson Button and commissioned in celebration of icons such as Ayrton Senna.
He is a constant presence in the F1 Paddock Club and has worked with global brands including Lamborghini and Red Bull.
At Silverstone 2026
For The Pop-Up Hotel, Paul is bringing:
- Large original canvases
- Cast bronze sculptures
- Exclusive works featuring 2026 teams
- Commissioned pieces for Nigel Mansell
- Live painting sessions across the weekend
This is art at full throttle. Thick oil paint layered up to 2cm deep. Statement pieces that need to be seen in person. You won’t want to miss out, so make sure you book early for Silverstone. What’s more, all artwork will be available to purchase during the event, and the artists are each putting a piece into our silent auction to raise money for Race Against Dementia, a charity founded in 2016 by F1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, following his wife Helen’s diagnosis with Frontotemporal dementia.
