(Un)Breaking the Spell
The finest moments at any world-class event share a single quality: you are fully present, entirely in the moment. There is no glance at the clock, no mental map of the car park, no quiet calculation of how long it will take to get home. The spell stays unbroken because you have nothing to worry about.
For too long, the great sporting weekends have been lived from the outside in, you endure the traffic, the queues and the journey home for a wonderful but fleeting moment in the middle.
The Pop-Up Hotel was built to turn that on its head: to immerse fans in the moments they love for longer, and to keep that spell unbroken. That is our mission, and in 2027 we are stepping up to set a new standard for our guests.
We have one shot each year to deliver that experience at each event, and our team works tirelessly, not only across the weekend itself, but throughout the year; designing new experiences so that we beat expectations every time.
Given the pace at which the hotel has grown in the short time it has been at The British Grand Prix, we are taking a moment to pause, listen and refocus. Here are just a few of the first upgrades we are planning for our inside-track hotel at the British Grand Prix in 2027.
Inside the Race
A defining privilege of our location is access: a private car park, a dedicated entrance, chauffeured entry and concierge arrival to the coveted inside track. In 2027 we elevate that arrival moment further, working more closely than ever with the brilliant team at Silverstone to bring The Pop-Up Hotel touch all the way to the main gate.
Silverstone’s team look after the largest sporting event in the UK, and the extraordinary task of safely welcoming over 500,000 fans. Our new role is to take care of the small but critical details of your arrival, so that your journey to us is effortless while they focus on the bigger picture.
- A dedicated Pop-Up Hotel team in our designated car park, on hand to answer questions, keep you moving and make sure you are comfortable. They will guide you through Silverstone’s ticket checks and searches and straight to a chauffeured vehicle to the hotel.
- A fleet of vehicles used exclusively for the hotel and no other venues for your arrival and departure.
- Digital Welcome Pack, clearly defining arrival routes and opening times which the venue will uphold.
- Live event customer services meaning you can call us during this busy time and speak someone who knows.

Relaxed, Refined Dining
This year, for the first time, we had the pleasure of working with the hugely talented Nathan Outlaw. Not only designing your menus but with us all weekend, cooking food built around ethically sourced, premium ingredients and inventive flavours. His food was one of the weekend’s great draws, and the response in the restaurant was overwhelming.
We will keep working with chefs of this calibre to ensure the quality stays outstanding, and we are making significant upgrades to the venue itself to give that food the canvas it deserves.

The Trackside Restaurant
This trackside space, with its raised, glass-fronted view of the track, is growing and extending closer to the race. A 50% increase in covers in current plans, with ideas being explored to add a second storey for more space still. The team and kitchen will scale to match, moving towards a chef-led, front-of-house style of service that adds theatre, flair and pace to every table.
The Residents Lounge
The much-loved Lavazza Deli returns transformed. A runaway success in its first season, it has been reimagined from a daytime café into a full lounge at the very heart of the hotel. The Residents Lounge sits in the centre of The Pop-Up Paddock, with generous indoor and outdoor seating and hours that now stretch across breakfast, lunch and dinner. A new bar means you can take in the Paddock with a drink in hand, and an accompanying off-licence lets you carry something back to enjoy in your room. It is the hotel’s living room; open and unhurried, from morning coffee to a nightcap.

The Trackside Bar
Our most popular spot to relax and take in the action gets better still. By moving bar service for the restaurant into the restaurant itself, we free our bar and bar team to serve you, no queues at exactly the moments your eyes should be on the race. The trackside bar will return with a wider selection of drinks to add even more pace to your drinks service.
We are adding larger and more numerous screens across every lounge pace so you never miss a second.
Our programme of talks proved hugely popular and the calibre of talent surprised even us, so this stage is moving from the smaller lounge into the larger bar area, letting more guests enjoy this daily run of shows from the comfort of our lounge seating.
Yours For The Weekend
The Pop-Up Hotel has never been about scale, it is about experience. Our service is premium and designed for a community of passionate, like-minded souls: a place with real buzz, yet intimate enough to remain unmistakably exclusive.
Between 2025 and 2026 the hotel tripled in size and, while demand alone might justify growing again, doing so would cost the very thing our guests love most.
That community is The Pop-Up Hotel. So while our restaurant, lounges and team will grow, the hotel itself will stay approximately the same size, at around 400 inside-track rooms.

Built Around the Guest
A hotel of this ambition lives and dies by its service, and in 2027 we are raising the bar on how we look after every guest. We are introducing dedicated hosts for each area of the site, a familiar face wherever you are, always close at hand to answer a question or smooth a moment.
Our arrivals and departures reception is being reimagined around a simple truth: guests come and go at every hour. It is being extended and will stay open twenty-four hours a day, so there is always someone to greet you whenever you appear.
Alongside it sits a new hotel-essentials store, quietly stocked for anything you might have left at home.
We are also sharpening the details that shape a stay, from accommodation specifics like Airstream water-tank refills to room welcome packs, so that everything is set out clearly and early. Communication matters, and you will be hearing from us more.
Flexibility
We have created a new way to plan your weekend. So many of our guests enjoy experiences across Silverstone’s array of grandstands, enclosures and hospitality venues, so you can now choose your food and beverage packages at the hotel day by day.
Bed & Breakfast still runs across the whole stay as places to find breakfast are few and far betwen; while half board and full board can be added on whichever days you like. It is your weekend, built entirely around your plans ensuring you only spend where you need to.
Comfort
Then there is the small matter of the washrooms. Given the heat, and the sheer number of outfit changes an F1 weekend seems to demand (we admire the commitment), we have given them serious thought; reimagining them as proper spaces to refresh and get ready, not just facilities.
We are:
- Upgrading to washroom-style units, the highest standard of WC and shower available today;
- Bringing our vanity stations out of The Salon and into the shower venues, complete with mirrors, power outlets and hair dryers;
- Adding comfortable furniture and dressing space for when you are waiting on friends;
- Introducing attendants to keep every unit fresh, ready and fully stocked between each use;
- And roughly doubling the number of toilets and showers at each complex, so they are always there when you want them.
Keeping The Dream Alive
These upgrades are just a handful of the areas we have focused on in the few weeks since we welcomed over 1,000 staying guests to the British Grand Prix. There is much more to come.
Just as importantly, so much of what you loved is staying exactly as it is, with a few light touches to keep the experience growing:
- The Pop-Up Paddock returns, with more activities and something for every age group;
- Our programme of talks and panels returns with a fresh, more diverse line-up and more space;
- Our original art curation continues, and grows alongside our spaces;
- Our dedicated team grows too, with plenty of familiar faces returning;
- The pool, hot tubs and our signature blend of casual and refined comfort continue;
- Your favourite rooms return, with exciting new additions from new suites to new canvas;
- The Gala and Champagne Reception returns with a full itinerary and more surprise-and-delight moments.
- And we will work on bringing that weather back too!
Limited Price Lock & Free Upgrade
For a limited number of guests, we are holding 2026 prices for the 2027 event and including a Bed & Breakfast upgrade for everyone who books.
It is the best value we will offer all year: 2027 pricing is dynamic and will rise by up to 30% from these rates.
Numbers are strictly limited and to ensure our facilities deliver the Pop-Up Experience, once these reservations are gone, trackside access will require an additional purchase alongside accommodation. We would encourage you to book early.
