THE WEEKEND

Shaping up to be one of the great editions of the Italian Grand Prix.

Kimi Antonelli, the 19-year-old from Bologna as it stands leading the World Drivers’ Championship in his second F1 season, comes to Monza chasing his first home win. The Italian who has carried the championship for four straight races, racing in silver, in front of the tifosi.

Ferrari sitting second in the constructors’, Hamilton and Leclerc both within striking distance of a podium and hunting their first win of the season. If it falls Ferrari’s way at Monza, the noise will be heard from Maranello.

Hints of what’s around the corner on top of the on-track action: a golf day at Monza Golf Club next door, a run down to Maranello and private dinners under the pines. Watch this space.
