The Pop Up Hotel creates luxury hospitality at the world’s great sporting and cultural events, including Glastonbury, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Monaco and Monza. In September 2027 we will bring The Pop Up Hotel to Adare, Co. Limerick, during the Ryder Cup week.
We’re looking for a confident, highly organised Programme Manager to shape and deliver the guest programme for our Hotel during The Ryder Cup in Adare: the hosts, speakers and personalities on our stage, the experiences our guests remember, our Pro Shop retail venue and our partnerships with the local community.
Content and Guest Experience
- Approach, negotiate with and manage the sporting, business, cultural and entertainment figures who will host, speak and appear at the event, including our two stage hosts
- Source and manage content providers for identified guest experiences
- Develop interactive experiences that drive guest participation and social engagement
- Ensure all content reflects our premium guest experience and hospitality positioning
- Content and performers lists provided, however contributions to concepts are welcome.
The Pro Shop
- Develop the framework for partners to activate within the Pro Shop, an emporium style retail and showcase venue featuring brands, makers and producers
- Manage the outreach, negotiation and onboarding of participating brands, and contribute to the target list
- Gather and share information and assets internally and externally to support marketing of the Pro Shop
Booking and Contracting
- Manage speaker, host and talent fees within agreed budgets
- Prepare contracts for leadership sign off, along with briefing documents and schedules for all contributors
Partnerships and Local Engagement
- Identify sponsor integration opportunities within the programme and support the partnerships team with pitch inclusions
- Coordinate partnerships with local community groups and charities identified by the leadership team
- Identify local producers, brands, artists and suppliers to showcase the culture, business and art of Adare and the surrounding area
Delivery
- Maintain programme timelines, action lists and status updates to keep development on track
- Provide content and talent announcements to support PR, marketing and social media
- Help develop programme messaging and promotional materials
- Coordinate content logistics, including calls, meetings and talent communications
About you
- Experience in event programming and production, talent booking, artist liaison or premium hospitality
- Confident approaching and negotiating with high profile individuals and their agents
- Highly organised, with the discipline to manage many contributors, deadlines and budgets at once
- A strong eye for quality and a natural feel for the premium guest
- An understanding of golf and its audience is a real advantage, though not essential
The role
- Freelance, reporting to Event Director
- An accelerated period from end October to mid December 2026 at approximately three days per week, then a lighter commitment through to our Adare launch in September 2027
- Largely remote with flexible hours; some travel to Adare may be required, along with onsite presence during the event
- £200 per day pre-event, £300 per day onsite (for live event days)
- We intend to extend this role across our full event portfolio, so there is real scope to grow with us.
Applicants should apply by email with CV and covering letter by 30th October 2026 to teams@thepopuphotel.com. Please share your availability for 2026 and 2027 as part of the covering letter.
