Glastonbury returns in June 2027 after a fallow year, and the question we hear most has not changed: where do you sleep?
If the answer is not a two-man tent and a queue for the showers, you are looking at glamping. Here is how the options compare, and what each one costs.
Your Glastonbury glamping options
Broadly, there are four ways to stay.
Your own tent in the general campfields. Included with a festival ticket. Free, famous, and exactly as rustic as you remember.
Glamping fields inside the festival. Pre-pitched tents within the site, booked separately once you hold a ticket. Close to the stages, with shared, simpler facilities.
Off-site glamping and hotels. Somerset has plenty, from farm sites to country house hotels. The catch is getting in and out each day, on shuttles or taxis, at the same time as everyone else.
A hotel at the gate. That is us. The Pop-Up Hotel has been a short walk from Gate D at every Glastonbury since 2011: proper beds, a pool, a spa, three restaurants and one of the few 24-hour bars in the area. The festival is minutes away. So is a hot shower.
Two ways to stay with us in 2027
Festival Fields sits closest to Gate D, with live music through the weekend and DJs by the pool. It is sold out for 2027.
Halcyon Fields is the new wing, set higher in the top fields with open views across the valley and the festival glowing below at night. It is the quieter side of the hotel: a spa far bigger than anything we have built before, daily yoga, wood-fired hot tubs and more space between rooms. Our classic 4x4s run a continuous loop to the nearest entrance, or it is about 15 minutes on foot. Guests in either wing have full use of everything on site.
How much is glamping at Glastonbury?
Our prices are per room, for the whole stay, 23 to 28 June 2027, including VAT. At Halcyon Fields:
- Bell tents: Deluxe £3,999 for two; Deluxe Grand from £4,199, for up to four; Superior from £4,399, for up to three; Emperor from £6,699, for up to six.
- Classic motorhomes: from £7,299 for two to £8,999 for six.
- Airstream £12,999 for two; The Pop-Up ÖÖD House £18,999 for two; American RV 5* £19,999 for four.
Per person, per night, that runs from about £245 in an Emperor shared by six to £1,300 in an Airstream for two. A Deluxe bell tent for two works out at £400 each a night.
What is included, and what is not
Every room comes with proper beds, fresh linen and towels, and is made up before you arrive. You are welcomed with a drink and walked to your room, and every booking includes at least one parking space. Around you: 24-hour hot showers and flushing loos, a 24-hour reception and round-the-clock security.
Food, drink, the spa, the salon and the heliport are charged separately. A 50% deposit secures your room.
Your festival ticket is separate
We provide accommodation only. Glastonbury tickets are sold exclusively by the festival through its official ticket seller, and every guest needs their own. You can book your room before you have a ticket, and many of our guests do.
Is it worth it?
